As if imposing your personal moral preferences on me aren’t as demanding. In a western, liberal, democratic society, I am free to “impose” my morals on you by voting for those representatives that best promote what I see as best, in the same way as you.
Welcome to modern democracy. The imposition is wrought by the majority.
I suppose that, if I were to try to impose my moral judgments that theft, slavery, and murder are wrong on you, you would “fuck my shit up.” That’s not how democracy works.
